I don't think all brackets work since all seats are different dimensions(i think), but they all mount the same way, Universal brackets are a biatch to use as i've heard though.

its not true that ALL are the same.. it IS true that some are the same.. and again univeral brakcets suck.. DONT get those.. honestly.. just buy the right rails that are recomended for the seat being installed.. even if some "kind of fit" they may cause an awkward lean.. or otherwise slightly out of place fit

5th gen honda seats bolt to the rails from the bottom, 6th gens on the other hand bolt from the side

the rails from the 5th gen can be modified to fit most bottom mounted seats while 6th gen rails can be modified to fit most aftermarket side mounted seats

best bet is to buy the rails that are made for the seats, but many companies will not sell JUST the sliders or brackets but rather you can only buy them if you buy them with the corresponding seats.
i ran into this problem with my current pair of sparco speed seats sitting at home

my gf has a 5th gen civic and the sparco seats mount from the bottom, it's easy to switch them over, but we made the mistake of getting rid of her stock seats in exchange for some 00 civic si seats a year or so ago....
i've had some people offer to fabricate me some rails and sliders... i think i might actually take one of them (the only one i really trust) up on his offer.

he is a one man operation that owns, builds, and sells tentrax trailors and he's an amazing fabricator
