ok, my friend has his own business he can get aftermarket parts for cheap.
but MOST are like ractive and toucan.

my question is this. from what i hear ractive is like knock off stuff, but its still "decent" stuff right?

im thinking of getting short shifter, strut bar package, TYC onepiece projectors, and black chrome tail lights, ill get the tail up soon, so you guys can tell me what you think.
But please, answer about the short shifter?

or should i spend the extra money and got for like skunk2 short shifter, or nuespeed or something?

Well like you said, ractive is a lower end brand, but the stuff isn't terrible even though I'd never buy any of it. Lets put it this way: If you are on the show circuit, then Im sorry ractive wont cut it, but if you don't care what other people think, then go ractive.

As for what you've listed there, don't get those tails. Thats an ok deal for seats I guess, but you can get em for cheaper off of ebay. And since you don't care about brands too much, they'd be fine. Piaa's are nice head lights, but I like my Sylvania Sylverstars better. I like the coler better and they are cheaper.

I personally liked my dual bend skunk2 I had in my old car, better then the one in my current AC technic one just because it was a dual bend and it was also weighted. But if you can get it cheap why not they all work about the same. If you like the other stuff get it, not my style but hey a hook up is a hook up.

u got a nice lil hb there..id keep it red and spend the paint money on the engine...and do u really need $90 lighbulbs, its just lighbulbs u can get like 2 of em for $20

i wouldnt get the tails or seats or paint id do engine first...or maybe get those rims...car looks nice as hell now though u should just make it fassst

well you should see the back of my car, sure it looks nice in that picture, but it really needs a paint job, there are paint chips on the back, and on the front lip.

where im from there are lots of REd HB's here, and only one blue one (my cousins). so i want to break away form the whole red colour. plus i like blue more than red. (my gf's uncle has his own paint cmpany, i can get a decent deal through him too)
Also my left headlight has a crack in it.

right now i pay $420/month for insurance[fire/theft/liability] (good thing its in storage for the winter)
i get over $1200 every 2 weeks, and i have no bills to pay, so im getting paint job, than im thinking about swapping for a B16a2, should only be like 2-3 months of saving.

and i doubt ill get the tails now too.

Yeah if your going to get tail lights half and halfs are the way to go, look alot cleaner.
