I was driving home from work and had a cd playing in my kenwood deck at about 25 volume which is high on my deck but i ran it fine before. Now, granted I had my blower at full heat, but it shut off once and turned back on. My clock was also off for like 2 minutes and then came back on. I have four 120W Max power kenwood speakers.

Does it seem to be overheating?

No. I don't think so. The temp gauge read steady.

My friend has the same problem, he went to honda dealer and they said its a problem for that particual model year(it was in their TSP). Some internal wiring problem is what I think they said. Check with your local dealer see what they say.

I'm gonna check my grounds sometime make sure that at least it's not my wiring, which it shouldn't since i used the harness.

Also, I didn't have my heat on yesterday when driving for a little bit, I cranked up past 26 and it was fine. Seems to happen when my climate controls are up high.

Well, my battery came from my brother's Rex. Could that be a problem?

I have the same problem at high volume, im runnin 2 re audio 12's, pheonix gold 1600 watt amp, and alpine deck. try getting a better battery or a high output alternator, cause its possible that your alternator cant keep up with the radio at high volume and the accesories running and drains the battery faster than the alternator can keep it charged.

It's the defrogger. Lol
If I have it off, I can crank it past 26 no problem.

happened to me before.. played my music to loud and it shutoff.. i was told that the radio does that so it doesnt overwhelm itself.. a quick resolution i was told was to install a capacitor.. it worked for me..

I have the same issue but mine is totally random, sometimes happens when I hit the brakes, so today I ran new wires to the fuse panel from the radio to bypass the main wiring & so far so good but I will know more on thursday when I take a long drive, I will report back with results.
