im sure most of you remember this car --- my friend luke that went to the track with us the other night and ran a 12.6....
and some of you probbly remember me mentioning that he would be racing in the One Lap of America race (www.onelapofamerica.com)
out of all the entrants, he had worked his way up to first in class, and 5th overall....on the verge of overtaking 4th, still with plenty of events to go...well i get the call from mike (eastcoastrsxS - his co-driver) tonight saying that they are on their way back....and to check out the video that has already been posted online....
from what i could tell, someone has built a new track in VA that has replicated every famous turn, and includes at least one of every corner you would experience in racing....INCLUDING the infamous nurburgring Carousel with the steep bank....well before the carousel, there is a slight hill that follows a high speed straight....all the other racers are taking this thing at a crawl's pace (relatively speaking
) but luke decides that hes just gonna go for it...in the dry run, he takes the hill at 100, gets all 4 off the ground, but lands it fine with plenty of time to take the carousel at speed.....fine ---
time for the timed run....he decides to up the speed to around 110 (from what i was told) and again, gets all 4 off the ground, but lands half track/half grass and loses control....still with plenty of speed, he hits the bank of the carousel and --- well, youll see

if its fixable, i would DEFINATLY keep it and fix that beast back to normal.
