Random smoke

Yes I searched first, found similar but not same problems. I'm new here, happy new year everybody. I have a random smoking problem with my newly purchased $500 civic. It's a 1.5 liter 1995 lx with 5 speed,190,000 miles. There is a light on but it indicated bad 02 sensor. If I drive downhill, and then accelerate, there is a grey cloud of smoke billowing from the exaust. It's major! There's a cold air intake on the car, and when I bought it there was nothing connecting the valve cover breather hole to it and blowby came out, wich I smelled while driving I connected with a rubber hose and that's about when the trouble started. Am I missing a piece between the valve cover( like a pcv) and the intake, or does it just have blowby? The spark plugs are normal light brown, no external leaks, I've only driven it ten miles,so don't know if it uses oil, don't want to get pulled over by cops due to other issues, so am actually afraid to drive. No steam, no coolant issue. Any help appreciated.. Thanks

Does it smoke on startup? Any smell to the exhaust?

Yes it smokes on startup. I'm pretty sure the seller had warmed it up for me when I first checked it out. The valve cover has a tube fitting on the upper corner that I thought hooked up to the intake for filtered air in for the pcv system.(I'm missing parts) it blows smoke through the tube, meaning there's"blowby" I changed oil with power punch and it's almost tolerable. If I use the gears instead of brakes down the hills, and then accelerate afterwards it smoked real bad.

Sounds like your rings are gone...

Found pics online. I had routed the line correctly. The blowby gases coming from valve cover tube are what's making all the smoke, basically squirting oil into the intake. I'm going to get about 5 feet of hose and vent it underneath the car to keep the smoke to a minimum.

I agree bad rings you could try using a catch can for the excess oil that flows up to the fuel mixture body near the intake (not sure what its call) itll help keep oil out if the fuel that would cause it too do to the high pressure u create when trans breaking. The catch can is a temp bandaid repair the rings do need replacing same issue with my 3000gt once i did that problem gone
