Rattling Sound

I have a rattling noise coming from the passenger side of my car int he front... sounds likes it coming from behind the dash (or in it?)... there is nothing in my glove box, so its not from in there... anyone else have this problem?

loose heat shield above the converter maybe, just a guess

I'll check it out next weekend when I go up home... i have a feeling it has something to do with the heater fan/unit since when i put it on 3 or 4 (for the fan speed)... i hear a very similar vibration... i'm not sure how or where its attached, so im going to look into it this weekend...

humm, it even could be you heater motor also, but that's also just a guess without hearing it myself.

i have that problem in my '91 too, but it's my intake bouncing on the metal haha

actually it could be that too... i forgot to bolt it down last time i messed with it so it loose... haha

haha... i feel so dumb... i finally figure out what it is... my glove box looks and feels tight... but the hinges must be loose or something... cause i was able to replicate the sound by moving it side to side quickly... oh well, at least its nothing serious

Yeah, easy fixes are the best. Do any of yahs know of anyone that re-grounded their 4th gen civic? It s suppose help smoothen out idle... which would be cool... my idle aint bad... but still rougher than the corolla i was coming from

i dont know of any body but ive heard of people doing it and i guess it works good if you get the quality kits

you dont actually have to get a kit, you can easily make your own i guess, just get high quality wires and good quality connectors (gold?)

If I have time this weekend... and of course if I can find good wires and connectors, i'll be trying it over the weekend...
