Well.. I wired and hooked everything up today... but for some reason, when i set it at 10 psi and floor it, my car would jump up to 10 psi for a split second, then drop off down to 5psi, then go up to 8psi, then down to 5psi, then back up to 8psi and it just keeps jumping back and forth... did I install something wrong or set the BC wrong? I tried every gain setting for 10 psi and it still ran like that each time... Anyone have a profec b and have this problem??? It almost seems like it gets up there at 10psi but then something opens or leaks or something and my boost goes away...

my boost used to bounce around when I had a leak above my turbo where it connects to the adapter plate but I could actually hear the leak. I welded it and no leak and no problems from there on. I do think there might be some threads on your problem though, try a search.
anyone using a profec b??? I somewhat have it boosting somewhat ok... It shoots up to 10, then drops to 5psi, then goes back to 10psi but it stays there till redline after that... but once i shfit, it drops down to 5 and has to work it's way up again... does'nt make sense to me... I figure I should be at 10psi once I shift...?
doesn't the profec b have settings for both peak boost and how fast or slow it builds?
