Ok, to start off, I have a 2000 4 door sedan Civic LX. I'm currently re-doing the interior over to black. Im painting all the plastic peices, and re-aplostering anything thats vynal (the doors, and the dashboard). I want to make the fabric on the doors, the SAME color as my car (Iced Teal). I have the door panel off of the actual door, and got the actual vynal skin off of the door. The fabric is just glued onto the vynal. I was planning on finding fabric thats the same color as my car, but since my car is such an off/rare color, I cant find any fabric to match. Now, should I just get some white fabric, paint it to match the car (using actual car paint), or should I do some fiberglassing? Now, this is JUST going to be where the fabric is on the door panels. If anyone has any idea's, please lemme know.
Cliff notes:
- Re-doing my interior black *instead of grey*
- Trying to get the fabric on the door panels to match the color of the car
- Cant find any fabric that matches my car
- Anyone have any ideas how to color match it? (IE: fiberglass)
