how the heck do I get rid of the maintenance light? It turns on when the lights are switched on. And forgive me for this noob ass question.

the "maintenance" light lets you know when to check certain things at certain milage... in the owners manual it tells you the milage to check different parts on your car... it goes from green to yellow to red... after to you check those things, or you just get sick of seeing red or yellow, stick your key and a flat head screwdriver in the little black hole on the guage cluster and that will turn it back to green... i am pretty sure that it turns colors after every 7500 miles...

there could be nothing wrong though.. the light in my sisters Jetta never goes off and it has nothing wrong with it, its just a fuse or wire or somthing

Thank you 1PhatCivic28 and anfrey. Now I get it. So basically it is supposed to be green. The reason I couldn't figure it out for myself is because I have no manual for the car. I just bought it recently and since it was a repo it didn't come with anything not even the keyless entry keychain.

u can get the keyless entry keychain at your local honda dealer for a fee. they can also give you the code for the stock radio.

I bet it would cost more than just putting in an alarm system though.

I got the radio code though.
