rear racing seats?

does any one now if you can put racing seats in place of the back seat? if so does anyone know how or have any ideas?

not easily, ive seen it done on show cars, i think LJ garcia did it on the scion. you could like reapolster the seats with a racing seat look, or you would have to do a lot of fabrication and make rear racing seats but it would be pretty hard

Yes, i've also seen it done... but it doesnt look very good IMO... and the rear people have no real reason to be in a racing seat anyway.. nobody cares if they fall over..

it is possible but most people that do it is only for show there is no real reason for rear racing seats except for looks i will say that it does look real good and put a lot of personality in your car.

hehe.. I agree... but sometimes ya gotta show off and scare the hell outta your friends by taking a turn really tight... but even at those times.. ya want them to fall onto eachother...it's just more fun that way... rear racing seats are completely pointless..

I hate the way it looks, but maybe you'll like it.... Just hit a few car shows.. you're bound to see it eventually..

i saw some tenzo's on an integra in an import tuner awhile back... it looks kinda out of place tho

I say don't loose the back seats but you can do it. Make a center console that goes all the way through from the arm rest to the back of the rear seats would help. Also fiberglass behinde the rear seats so that the racing seats would blend in. It would take money and time but if done right and with the right seats could look good.

I saw a car with Sparcos in the front and Tenzo R's in the back. I dont get why you would want to do that though, It makes no sense to me.

i think it looks horrible.... if you watched mtv's "pimp my ride" tonight, you would have seen what they look like. They put matrix racing seats in the front and back. try and catch the re-run whenever it is on and you will shy away from the back racing seats

i saw it too, not that nice looking. what they used were custom mounts to put them in.
