i've been searching google and youtube for a more detailed description on how i would go about doing so. the manual is too general and it keeps referring me to other pages with refers me back to the seat removal page. i've read that its solved by pulling the seat forward and removing bolts and screws shown but i cannot pull forward. it feels like there are screws or something keeping me from doing so. i've looked in thru the trunk area and i couldnt see anything needing to be removed. please help!

You have to release the seat from the rear deck lid (where the speakers/ 3rd brake light is) there are 2 ways to do this.
1 put your key in the top of the deck lid you'll see where it goes.
2 Reach in the trunk and pull the release strap. Again, you should see it, it's towards the middle. It's just kinda dangling there.
As much of a picture whore as I am, my phone is a pos, and tapatalk hates me. I'll have to post this 4 times before it'll be accepted :/

Good luck, let us know if you need any more assistance =)

This is actually very simple. There are no screws that hold the bottom half of the rear seat in, just 3 prongs. Pull the back towards you and wiggle it out. Examine the prong and there's two just like it on the part of the backseat closest to the driver and passenger seat. Remove them just like the first one.

Then the top half of the seat has two bolts on the bottom left and right corners. Unbolt and enjoy your newfound space
