i have a 2dr 98 ex but it mite still b the same. anyway the rear speaker grills jus pop them off w/ a screw driver. theyre a b***h n will prob break off most of the clips but in the end there should b a few left that will clip back in. anyway i keep my system up on 34/35 in its loud as a mother..... n the grills dont virbrate or anything. i dunno if this will help it was an honest effort. good luck with it.

Sorry to tell ya but to gain access to remove the speakers, you have to remove basically the entire rear of the interior. This includes the rears seats first (upper and lower cushion), then remove the side panels that extend to the doors, and after all that is out, you can remove the rear deck. A lot of this stuff requires some hard pulling to get the clips out but its the only way. Hope this helps.

 yeah i had to take off the whole thing to get to my rear speaker on my 2K man. It sucked. It didnt quite go back together as well either, and it sometimes vibrates. Ill have to take more time and thoroughly go through the process again. And i couldnt fit the child safety restraints back in the hole either. ERRR
