Rear Speakers?

Where are the rear speakers in the back of a 95 civic supposed to be?
I've got wires marked rear L & R in the centre consol that go somewhere but I've looked in the boot and side panels but cant find any wires or speaker mounting brackets / holes.
I don't really want to cut the parcel shelf up either.

try up in the rear deck.......pop ur trunk and look up into the deck area......see if there are cut outs.

Certain models of the 92-95 didn't come with rear speakers. I had a 92 EX and it had no rear speakers even cut out...not even rear grills. I had to do it myself.

Its a 3 door hatchback. Only just bought it so I'm busy moving all my ICE from the old car to this.
Have just mounted tweeters in the plastic triangle where the wing mirror remote used to poke out and they sound cool ...

Well i have a 95 hatch but its an si and i have mouting brakets in the rear next to the seats you can pull off the panel and i have brakets and the wires are there also but like i said its an si i dont know if the others have that

Thats where I expected to find wires and brackets but it's just an empty space. I dont suppose you could send me a picture of the brackets so I could make my own set?.

You really dont need brackets !! I just cut holes in that little panel and screwed the speakers in there . I have a CX so it didnt come with the speakers in the rear . I know that the CX , VX and DX dont have the speakers in the rear . You just have to make it custom back there and you are cool .

you cant just screw your speakers in if you have good speakers man it will vibrate and sound like crap thats why the brackets are there for support

5th gen is wack..no speakers in the back for cx vx and dx..my dx got speaker in the back...bangin' too...
