Rear Trailing Arm Problem

Hey Guys,
I was working on my 96 Civic today which has a 126k miles on it. I was changing the rear control arms when I snapped a bolt on the right rear side which connects the control arm to the right rear trailing arm. How likely is it to extract this bolt with extractor kit, or will I have to replace that whole rear trailing arm? I'm taking my car to one of my uncle's who is an expert mechanic, but I'd just like to get an idea.

Hey Sleeper Si,
thanks for the support. So a good extractor kit should work. I'm not trying to ruin the threads.

i drenched the bolts and nuts with wd-40 for a few days before attempting to remove them. didn't have a torch and would suggest you torch them first otherwise you will end up like me. lol!

need to drill out the camber bolt and shock bolt :(

yep, just like you most of my bolts are snapping off too. I finally got my lower control arms installed today, but to get that one bolt off, the one I snapped, my uncle and I had to grind that b***h off. Stupid rust and all haha sorry you are talking to complete noob, but where did you buy your ASR piece from? and what's the technical term for that part. The stock one is sort of all bent up, from previous owner. Was just working on that today and noticed it

should have used a torch and heated that bitches first before trying to loosen. =)
the ASR part is called a rear subframe brace, i got it off from the ASR guys but you can find some similar on fleabay for less. the rear stock subframe is weak and tends to bend with bigger rear sways.
