rebuilding a turbo?

does anyone know roughly how much it would cost me to get a turbo rebuilt? whats the difficulty of rebuilding it myself? are parts readily available? any sites for rebuilding?

i'm about to get a turbo from a junkyard, and it'd be nice to get it rebuilt before i boost

depends on what kind of turob man, T3s are cheap and cheap to rebuild. my bro tells me yo uneed help rebuilding your motor?

ya, i think i'm gonna get a junkyard z6 block or something and maybe a junkyard head... i'm not sure about head... i just don't want to have to really mess with it to much after i boost.... i'm only looking for at most 200whp...

i'm actually picking a volvo turbo up from a junkyard your brother spotted for me... i'm on a TIGHT budget

yes more likely a T3....mines off of a saab and its a T3.....go to ebay and look up rebuilding kits....u can prolly do it yourself...just read up and dont f**k it up...good luck!

i told him bout the Z6 we seen that we ganked the valve cover off of. im not sure about the rest of the motor now....but we can take a look
