i have this on my civic lxi..

and i want to put this...

do i have to add or buy somthing for this to work? i really have no clue and the guy im buyin this told me it will fit on mine....

that cluster looks like its from a 92-95 civic and you have a 99 civic so i dont know how it would work out, never seen it done
