So the speaker wires in my car are all f**ked up and it's getting on my nerves. I want to get some wire to wire the speakers up to the center console for now. I'm getting a Kenwood KDC-145 next Thursday for my birthday so I want to make sure the f**ked up wires aren't messed anymore. What gauge wire would be the best to use and should I use braided or solid? Also, is there clips or anything I need to attach so they attach to the speakers?

16/18 gauge wire should b good, you can order a 200ft roll from ebay a lot cheaper than getting it from a shop
You need some Female Insulated Wire Terminals Connectors, you can buy this at home depot or lowe's
