I have a '94 DX coupe with a standard D15b7 Motor. I plan on putting in a B16a2 . Since the original engine is only rated at 102hp and 98 lbs/ft i'm wondering what types of Chassis reinforcement i will need to do since i'll be increasing it to 170hp and 116lbs/ft before any mods are made

You do not need and reinforcement. The motor comes stock in Civics and 170hp(crank) is not a lot.

yeah it's not absolutely necessary, but if you really want to, i'd recommend a neuspeed front upper strut bar. if the strut bar can bend/flex easily (like ebay strut bars) then it's junk. it should be really stiff to serve its purpose

Front upper STRUT brace for frame reinforcement because of added horsepower? Hmmm....
