Relocating Headunit....

I've seen threads about these, but it's only been done on a 99-00 Civic. I want to relocate on a 96-98 civic. I have a aftermarket headunit (the clip on one). Anyway my question is it the same way as you do as a in a 99-00 civic?

it's been done on more than that.

i had a DVD player in that pocket, and a screen in the stock HU location.

'tis the same thing. i'm guessing it'd be easier if you have 96-98 to begin with, though. i don't remember having to rip off the front of the dash like that... but i just watched the process, so i'm not sure.

That looks nice. That's what I was wondering, I dont want to rip my climate control like that. Just wondering if there was another way.

i don't remember that having to be done. you just have to stick your hand down the hole where the HU was. i think that's probably because 99-00s have a different setup than ours.

you do have to take off all the center pieces though.
