Alright on a 2000 Civic is it possible to remove the din pocket below the factory radio? I tried pulling on it and it came a little loose but I didn't want to break anything.

It will only come out when you take apart the whole dash like you do when you change the stereo, it just doesn't simply "pop off".
Its held on to the radio with some brackets.
In order to remove it you have to take the head unit out.

Well I have to take out the stereo anyways buy I figured I would get a head start on drilling the holes in the din pocket for my little project.
