removing ebrake handle???

just like it says i m trying to remove my handle and boot to paint then black...can i take them off the actual handle of do i have to unbolt the whole thing to paint it

Best way to do it is a set of vicegrips or better yet a monkey wrench... Wrap the handle in a towel or t-shirt or something kinda thick to prevent marking, and TWIST.. twist back and forth and push forward all at the same time... a little patience is required

He used a special paint made for interior vinyl which you can only get at body shops
