removing ebrake handle

does anyone know how to remove the e-brake handle??, i wanna change mine but dont know how

pull the rubber back and then yank it out...

if you want to keep it in decent condition, wrap a small towel around it and hook a monkey wrench toit and wiggle it both ways while pulling, it takes a little effort, lol
