Removing Head Unit to install Amp

I'm ready to install my amp but am having trouble removing my Pioneer DEH-P5500MP (installed by Circuit City). Any suggestions? The manual talks of "amp installtion keys" tha I believe go into the slots highlighted below, but I don't have such keys.

Help me get to my RCA's!

u can just use a skinny flathead screw driver and just use it to wedge the sides up.......just dont do it TOO hard to where u bend evyerthing. Gl.....

I usually use a scroll saw blade down each side, but anything thin and long will get the it out.

i dont think u tried hard enough..unless u screwed the deck on the the car....or u didnt install that urself....its pretty simple..if that is ur deck bought legit it shoulda came with these hooks that helps u pull it out...i'll post pics later if u still need them

Uninstalling HU

Yea, circuit city installed it and never got them back (the keys).

So are those two holes on the side the only ones I need to worry about or do I need to jimmy a screwdriver all around the HU?

i dont think u tried hard enough..unless u screwed the deck on the the car....or u didnt install that urself....its pretty simple..if that is ur deck bought legit it shoulda came with these hooks that helps u pull it out...i'll post pics later if u still need them

The keys will get the deck out in 5 sec...or you can take it to circuit city and have them take it out since they will do it for free since you bought the deck there. Just tell them to pull it and leave it so you can get to the back of it. Hope this helps.
