Removing IAC valve D16y7??

Okay So I am attempting to remove my IAC valve on my d16y7.. so I can clean it

I know there are 4 bolts on each corner of the valve, and 2 hoses.
I can remove all 3 of the bolts except the bottom left bolt, because the small plastic cylinder thing is sort of blocking the bolt. (It is the one that has a red square around it in the picture.)

the plastic cylinder part of the IAC looks like it has 2 screws that is holding it on, I can easily unscrew it, but will that mess anything up with the IAC??

any help suggestions tips would be great..
thanks for reading..

i had to take mine off to clean it to. FOLLOW MY ADVICE.... Remove your fuel rail, and throttle bodies FIRST!! then its the simplest thing to remove your IAC valve. trust me i've tried other ways, its just how you mess things up and create BIGGER issues. so take off your fuel rail, intake, and throttle body. it sounds alot scarier than it really is. But its the best way to do it.

The reason I can't reach the bolt is because that plastic part of the IAC is in the way.. some people say I should take out the throttle body.. it is it really nessasary? I know i seen some diy where the throttle body wasn't took out. but not sure if that was a d16y7. what do other d16y7 guys think? do you guys take off the throttle body to remove the IACV??

okay so would it be okay to take off that plastic green cylinder part of the IAC to reach the bolt? or would that part even come off with the 2 screws removed? or would I have to remove the throttle body??

i just told you the simplest way to do it. I HAVE A D16Y7 if you remove the green plastic piece you risk installing incorrectly (bc it only works if it goes on correctly & there multiple ways to get it on). SERIOUSLY take my advice I've been there done that. dont bother trying to remove the plastic its a problem waiting to happen.
