Removing paint from interior panels?

I just bought a 97 DX hatchback and it was it pretty good condition, one of the only things I didn't like about it was that the previous owner painted the dash and almost all other plastic interior pieces with what I think is spray paint. My question is, is there any way to remove the paint without damaging the dash or panels? Or am I doomed to look at an ugly painted dash? Thanks in advance!

Easy Off oven cleaner is a good way to remove paint from plastic parts. I'd experiment with something small and not so noticeable before going crazy on the big parts.

Depending on what parts are painted, they may be easier to just replace. Interior panels are pretty easy to find at a junkyard or on Craigslist for cheap.

Almost all interior panels and dash are painted. Not certain what type of paint it is but I'm assuming its spray paint. I'll try the Easy off on a small panel and if it works I'll work on the rest. Thanks for the help guys!
