Well, I painted some of my interior last year - I think most of its plastic, I dont think I painted any vinyl.

welcome to the site, I think you're gonna regret painting your interior down the road but GL with the car
Seems he was correct.

I want it gone. Is there anyway I can take it off without scratching or destroying my interior, or buying replacement parts?

Would a very fine grain sand paper do the job? Any ideas?

That is the only way my friend. When the time came to sell my car I knew nobody would buy it with everything painted. So I found myself spending money trying to change it back to stock. The only thing that worked for me was this can of adhesive remover. Its a gel, you leave it on then wash it off but its really messy, burns your hands and if you leave it on too long it will burn the plastic. Eventually I bought what i could from a junkyard and whatever I couldnt fix i painted gray...the guy didnt seem to mind/notice so it was all good.

Maybe someone can shed some light on the sandpaper though.
