So my car will start and idle at about 2.5 to 3k for the first 10 or so seconds then bounce between 1.5 and 2kfor the next 30 seconds. Then idles fine when its warm and if I turn the engine off fornot to long and its still warm it won't idle badly again. Only when cold.
I replaced the iacv this morning and to my surprise there was no change, but when I unplugged the electrical plug on the iacv it idled between 1 and 1.2k but still bounced a bit.
I've heard a few things, like maybe cleaning throttle body/tps (I was unaware you could clean a tps) and I don't think it's a vacuum leak because it goes away when warm.
Just wanted everyone's input, I am sure it's a common problem.
