Well, taking a engine out of a civic = not hard so far i did it by myself and its the first time, and I have also been under my car a while "hums porn music in the back of head".

in a car with a engine im guessing it would take a non experienced person about 6-10 hours to do it.

I pulled the engine out of my hatch in roughly 3 hours, and ive never done it before.

go figure...

i just recently changed mine about about a month ago on my 93 coupe, theres about three bolts actually holding it in you have to disconnect the steering wheel linkage down under the dash, i took off thhe front tires for more room of course i had it jacked up on stands. i also removed the header not the one piece that connects to the cat, also you need to disconnect the power steering lines after all that it will just come out with a little muscle, sweat and blood, if you dont use gloves. it took me about 5-6 hours working alone, also place your wheels dead straight and steering wheel as well or else youll screw up your entire alignment but get it aligned after wards i had too. but now mines good to go with a lifetime warranty. if you have any specific questions feel free to ask.
