I tried to fit a mugen replica lip on my 4 door civic and it wasn't long enough? Is there any place that you guys have bought a replica that fit on a 99? Thanks.

Where did you get it from? Mine was from jdmshit.com and yes, it appears to be too short but if you clip one side on, then pull it over to the other side, with some force you can get it to fit perfectly. If it has a little bit of a gap in it, like mine, just use a blowdryer on it for awhile to mold it.

But if it's WAY too small, call them and see what they can do for you.. chances are you either got a bad mold or something not for your car.

Alright, sounds like I'm gonna try to use some force to see if it fits tomorrow. Thanks

I got a 99 coupe.. I ordered my mugen V2 on ebay... installed it myself
At first I had hard time placing it on my bumber..then one day i went ballistic...I had my whole front bumber in my basement ..sanded the edges and it poped in like a glove.
If it looks like its missing just a bit .. you got the good part but you gotta sand the bumber edges to make it fit tight.
First remove your bumber..lay it on something so it wont wabble around, if you look carefully you got two predetermided grooves on the stock bumber- use a drill bit of the appropriate size and drill away
sand bumber edges just enough for it to fit in and get yourself some of those selftapping screws ( normaly comes with the skirts) ..stick that screw into the hole u just drilled and with a philips screwdriver screw it it from the inside out. remove the selftapping screw and put in at machines screw with washer and nut and there you go you just upgraded ur ride
Take ur time and be patient ..it's nothing really and you would be saving a buck or two ;) gl
