Restricter?

Some one was saying that my car needs a restricter for the oil line. How long could it go with out one?

I wouldn't go at all without one, you're going to over oil the turbo and blow the seals.

what turbo? not all turbos need the restrictor mostly the ball bearing ones because they need very little oil because the coolant does all the cooling, and the oil is strictly for lubrication.

you should only need one, if you start leaking oil past the seals

garrett t3's and t3/t4 use a 1/8npt oil fitting, if your oil fitting is bigger than that for that turbo you need an oil restrictor
