reupholster seats?

has anyone on here ever reupholstered their seats. im planning on redoing my seats in my ej1 in black leather. want some opinions, and should i do a how to?

I did mine. I bought the kit from Katzkin. it was not cheap though. front and rear seats, armrest and door panels for $800.00

ive already got a whole roll of black vinyl for automotive seating. im doin mine from scratch

anyone have any input? or something they would like to see. im debating weather to leave the headrests w/ plain black leather or to have something embroidered on them. either honda emblem, or civic. any ideas are welcome? especially for headrests, they are easy to remake.
