Hey.
I just bougth a armrest for my civic here the other day, after I did that I ordered a new piece of suede leather with red stitches.
I decided to take some pictures how to do it.
First off all you need the armrest: (The old clothing have been pulled of here)
Then you need the tools:
The lid is hold by two screws:
There is six screws you have to take off:
When you have done that you just have to pull the pieces apart:
Now get your new clothing:
Now you have to take the sprayglue (I have no idea if thats the right name for that), spray the glue on the back on the new clothing and on the lid to make it stick together.
Now comes the hard part, and that is to make the clothing sit on the lid without any folds, I think I used one hour or more, and im not happy with the result, so im gonna buy some new clothing sometime and do it over again.
But there is the result I got:
I hope you can use it for something, I know its a very easy DIY, apart from applying the new clothing
