i installed the gauges on my 97 coupe so it might be different. but this is what i did. i tapped into the wire thats behind my cruies control. i think it was a red/black wire but not totally sure. i tested it with a multi meter, spliced, solder, tape. then with ground i just used one of the bolts. if you need some pics let me know and ill try to get some for you. hope this helped.
