Reverse Lights Dont Work.. Help!

I have a 1999 Honda Civic SI and my reverse lights dont work. the bulbs are brand new. I cant figure out why they dont work.

does anyone have any idea why? and what i can do to fix it.. any advice might help

check the following:
fuse-drivers side foot well-under hood
use a wire tester and see if they are geting current at bulb

its been a while since i had my transmission out but i believe there is a connector near the front of the car that goes into the transmission that is for the reverse lights, check that too make sure its plugged in, anyone correct me if im wrong... sorry for being so vague

Yep, there is a reverse light switch. Make sure its plugged in. If it is, its probably bad if you have checked everything else.
