Rewiring speakers in 99 Civic EX

Hey you guys,

I have a problem with my 99 civic and got no idea how to fix it. I went to best buy today, bought a new head unit, since there was nothing in there since i bought the car. I had them install the head unit for like frickin 50 bucks, which they did. But there is one problem. The guy that was doing it told me he could only hook up 1 (right front) speaker to the head unit, cuz the other ones were previously rewired to the trunk, where they were hooked up to the amp. I know that all the speakers (front and rear) are pretty much brand new and working. I also have a box in the trunk with 2 12' subs, i think like 1000watt each. I also found an amp in my basement, dont know the brand but seems pretty small, says it's 2 channel 400watt amp. I'm not sure if it works. Now my question is how do I put all that together to make the speakers (all) work properly, and possibly the subs? I have no idea how to get all that s**t together :P

Run your own wires for the speakers and hook them up to the wire harness for the headunit. Pretty simple.

yeah ^.
dont go to best buy though abt the rewiring, they're f**king expensive. Try a local audio shop, or have you and a friend work on it.

Wal-Mart has fair prices on anything for car audio.

first of all a 400 watt amp will not power a 2k watt box lmfao... but if your not big on wiring get you a 4 channel amp so you can power the speakers thru that. Trust me you get a better response having the vocals pushed by a amp sound louder and clearer then thru the head unit.
