pretty nice vid that LS motor has header and intake......Man I wanna see someone just come out of nowhere with an EX JRSC that just owns s**t man.....Those kits are alright it just takes some time and money but im sure you can get that s**t pulling really hard.........

the EX its racing is VTEC, so maybe you hear it and not that hatch.

If you can hear an EX make vtec that loud, plz record it and send it to me, bc I would def. like to hear that......

And even if you could, the supercharger would drown the s**t out of it........

On my d16y8, I could definately hear the vtec engage when supposed to. Its not as deep as duals, but its something I am aware of when it kicks.

well, i would record my EX w/SRI for you if i had the equipment to do so, but the VTEC engagement point (~5500 RPM) is very noticable, and decently loud.

oh...and i was just guessing as to why. I'll watch the vid again to make sure.

For just having bolt-ons on d16/z6/y8, the vtec engagment is more like a change of tone when it hits, but its definately audible. WIth a short ram intake, its louder than using a cold air.

Not sure how it would really sound like if it was really fixed up to be fast.

maybe its the LS that has the SC.. cause the hatch sure sounds like it has vtec..

If you wanna hear vtec engaging, you should take a ride in my car, it will be way louder than your puny d series.
