nice civics! did anyone went to the track and got their 1/4 mile? iam talking about SOHC vtec engine, can anyone reply to me whats their best time on a basic bolts on?

Well I personally have a d15 with lots of heavy ass stereo equipment. My best run was a 16.9

My brother has a SOHC Vtec ZC (a d16 with more power). At the time he had intake, header, exhaust, fly wheel, crank pulley, and a cam. He ran a 15.2 at 91mph.

Did your brother do a head swap? I thought ZC were non-vtec.

there's no such thing as ZC with vtec, unless you put a vtec head

I have a SOHC ZC with no VTEC. So if he has a VTEC he prolly just changed the head. My powerplant is strait outta Japan.

i have a d16z6 with basic bolt ons and some other s**t and i run a 15.36 or so almost every time i run.

there is a sohc zc vtec civic_on_air is correct the nov-vtec version of the zc is the dohc zc.

NO, there is NO VTEC ZC. There is the 1.6 SOHC ZC non VTEC, and the 1.6 DOHC non VTEC zc. The JDM SOHC that has vtec is the D15b.
