he had a brain tumor... Story goes he passed out one day while driving. Then they found he had a brain tumor, had surgury, chemo and all but it came back around 6-8months later. He ended up losing his second battle with it in late november.Sprecher said:Wow...I didn't know that. How'd I he die...Wow.

The guy almost inspired my to buy a WRX. I wished I would have watched my WRC in the last year. He will be missed.

It was strange how Richard just disappeared from rally and tv, i never knew what happened to him till i heard it on the radio the morning he died.
