Hey everybody! I'm pretty new to this whole blogging/forum chat thing.

Just so ya'll know, I drove nothing, but manual transmission, since day 1.
I started out with a beat-up white accord '92, then bought my sisters forest green colored accord '97, and finally, I am currently driving my first actual car that I've saved up and worked hard for.

Let me tell you more about him. He's black and his name is Richard. We made it official last year, so it has been a year and one month! YES I NAMED MY EFFIN CAR! haha

I never knew d**k was short for RICHARD, in which I still don't understand why and how that is...

Anyhow, I was so fck'n close to purchasing a 08 Mugen SI. I was a week too late, and the only DICKhead left in the lot was a black si...

If I had more time to save up, I would have, honestly, get myself a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo '10, but mother here forced me to purchase a car ASAP, because the accord I bought from my sis was getting weak, kept breaking down. That ride was originally from CO and was sent down to the dirty $outh and then back here to the Midwest. That mofo has been all over central U.S.

&& so...I ended up with the black SI and named'em Richard. I was pretty upset the day I bought'em, because my mind was set on the blue Mugen. My sis & I could have started a blue team or something, because she owns a blue RSX Type S, but later, Richard grew on me and I love'em very much!

Thanks for reading my gibberish! Have a beautiful day ya'll!

FYI: Everything is stock and I want some stuff done to my baby!
What should I get done to my boo? :D

I recently got a black 2000 Civic Si and I love it. Wished I had a hatch but then again, you can always trade it or sell it when you save up more money and get what you really want.

I can guarantee at least a few if not all who post on this will say to lower it. Then theres catback exhaust, headers, cold air intake, etc. The best thing about having your own car is that it is all up to you.

And you could always paint your car blue. It's a really time consuming and difficult DIY but it can be done nonetheless.

Welcome to CC

Barrett: I've registered for 8th Civic, but I think I honestly like this website better for some reason!

xXDeathMaliCeXx: Those are nice! My bro used to have a hatchback years ago. I would love to lower my ride, but the thing is I stay up in Mpls and y'know...winters and everythang. Argh!

Say....what do you guys think about matte black rims with a green lip? :D

Yeah, that's why the only reason I would consider lowering my car is to get coilovers so I can adjust it higher during the winter. But then again, its all about how much money you wanna spend...lol

I have been thinking about painting my rims black, preferrably matte. And I've always thought a light, semi-neonish green looks good with black. Your call!

i like this site better too. but 8th is great for finding deals on used parts and for learning. there is limited K series stuff on this site. or try k20.org

personally i think that every car should have a color scheme. and given you have an Si, its basically black and red are the main colors. black and green would make the green stand out a lot. i also think white rims are sick. i'll trade you for your stock rims. lol.

anyway, what exactly do you want out of the car? budget?
