hey everyone i know i need to do lots and lots and than some more research but i was wondering if someone could point me in right direction. ive been reading alot of forums and some other things. but i plan on turboing my d17y7 now i already have a y8 head and valve cover and distributor and plan on a skunk mani and AEM fuel rail. as well as vitaras rods i dont know witch ones yet and camshaft. my goal is 250whp is this even reasonable on a d? as of now i just want to get engine built and worked to be ready for a turbo setup. anybody wana just give me a psuh in the right direction or am i on track ect? oh and id like a stage 2 clutch and light flywheel.

the first site is exactly what you need. has plenty of d knowledge. more than you would learn by everyone posting stuff in this thread.
the second one is good for learning ways of making things work and/or making your own parts. basically doing it cheap.

but honestly, i dont know if it was a typo or something, but theres no such thing as a d17y7
theres a d17a7 and a d16y7. i would think i t was a typo and was supposed to be a d16y7 since he owns a 1996 dx which came stock with d16y7's.
