What kind of sound are you looking for...how loud do you want it to be...what kind of car do you have...hatch/coupe/sedan...have you looked into the Diamond series subs or possibly the JL W6...

look for clear thump,not banging like the kicker L7.
going in to 2000 civic dx coupe,also what do yall use to make the sub stay in place?
when i had the kicker L7 that s**t be flying around when i take sharp corner or go on dips.
don't want JL they are over rated also the price,jl are good sub but there better sub out there than jl.
I know DD and RL are good s**t for sure.
