A buddy of mine that works at a local shop called me yestarday and told me that he had a free short shifter for my car. After a day full of anticipation i finally got it, and its unlike any shifter ive seen before. Its fully adjustable...you can make it longer/short move it left/right angle it this way or that, its really neat.

But as neat as it seems im trading it later today for my friends stock integra shifter and 10 dollars (to be spent on ES shifter bushings)

Ill get some before and after pictures of my civic and my buddies integra after the bushings come in and we swap the shifters.

Where can you get it, or read about it?
Why are you trading for a stocker?

it seems pretty sturdy, i mean u can tighten all the bolts down and it dosent move at all, but i still have never heard of the company and im very picky with wat parts go on my car.

The reason im getttin the stocker is because im my last civic i had a skunk2 duel bend and it was great, but i like the longer throw of the oem shifters (but the civics stock one is just to long)

Looks like some sort of torture device... I'm too scared of how that thing looks to install it.

Alright so my friend got the shifter in his car.....and well to put it bluntly its a peice of s**t, its BARELY shorter than the stock integra shifter and its come unadjusted twice since we put it in. It rattles on the exhaust really bad, i mean my skunk2 shifter did too but i just had to put some longer exhaust hangers on it, but this one slams the exhaust on the slightest bump.

So i guess it was a good learning experiance...

As for my car i have a queastion...after pulling the stock shifter off the integra i noticed that the botton of the shifter (with the bearing in it, that connects to the shift linkage) appears to be about half an inch wider than the civic one....so my queastion is what all do i need to put the integra shifter in my civic? i havent actually tried to bolt it in yet, so i may have just been looking at it wrong, but it looks like there is more to this than i thought.

o and i put the ES bushing in already and they are freakin sweet....anyone that hasnt gotten them yet....find 10 dollars and 15 minutes or spare time....because its definately a good cheap mod.

im sure if i really really tried i could get it out, but i doubt it would go back in....or work.

I know there has got to be a way to do this, one of my friends had one in his civic for a while.

My only other idea was to get the shift linkage off an integra, but im not sure if it would bolt up to a d-series tranny, and i would have to buy new bushings.....which would piss me off a lil bit lol
