wassup. i live half way between ottawa and TO and was wondering if anyone knows a shop that installs roll cages in honda civics. I know there are a few around and i have checked out 3 of them in my area. One didnt do good enough work, and out of the other two, the best quote i got was $200 per point, i wanted an 8 point cage; and 50 per bend... thats dam near 1800 bucks by the time im done. crazy or what! if anyone knows of any other shops that instal them i would appreciate it as i would like to get some more quotes. also i was wondering if anyone had had any luch with bolt in cages? id appreciate some feedback. thanks

Do you honsetly need one??? The NHRA doesn't force you to have one until you run under 12 seconds... so unless you can do that, you don't really need one.

That is of course unless you plan on rolling the car at high speed for some reason.

well my plan is to turn my civi into a racecar, very slowly that is because i dont really have a big budget like realtime racing or anything and i have been further slowed by how much $$ it takes to get a scca licence, so ya, to answer your question, i am slowly turning my car into something exclusively for the track and the cage is the next step in the process. thanks 2kstreetcivic, ill check ouy meyer racing.
