My civic has a 1.5 in it nothing special. I put new injectors in it cause it has some hesitation and sputtering. Well that has cleared up some but it still when its cold idols rough. It will actually drop down to 100 rpms and I'm worried its going to cut off on me. I have narrowed it down to a few things but I'm not sure which one to lean towards first. I have a v tec motor so I'm wondering if its the distributor breaking down, the fuel pump or possibly the computer. Really need some advice. Please help thanks!!!

IACV or exhaust leak, I've experienced both of those with past Hondas. There's a screw on your throttle body, check that and see of its loose, if so crank that mug!

I've been having a rough idle issue and for a while i've been doing a whole bunch of trouble shooting and still not getting any where!! Some times I just want to drive this crap off a bridge. The car like to idle smooth when ever it wants to but most of the time it idles rough at stops. steering wheel vibrates like f-ing crazy I hear the whole car rattling it's just not comfortable driving this thing.

What I've done so far:
1. Changed the distibutor cap and rotor due to corrosion in the cylinder 2 terminal

2. checked the spark plug wires and found one was torn at one of the terminals so I repared the wire

3.changed pcv valve and grommet

4. checked for vaccum leaks found none

5. bled the cooling system

6. Tested the ECT sensor with a multimeter and acording to the chart in this stupid ass haynes manual it seemed defective replaced tested the new one at op temp and it gave me the same readings as the old one.

7. Did a compression test and compression was good along all cylinders.

8. checked the IACV with a multimeter, according to the stupid ass haynes manual it's ok. I also cleaned it.

9. Adjusted the ignition timing as it was way to advance

10. checked my fuel filter to see if it was cloged, it wasnt.

11. changed air filter

All this and not even the slightest change I even get this anoying popping sound when its' warming up and I can feel it in the break pedal at a stop. I don't know what else to do I've been throwing money and time trying to get the damn thing to run smooth. What else should I try? If I remember correctly it was running fine before I messed with the drive belts because I was hearing a knocking sound in the engine bay that originated from the ac compressor but I've adjusted them numorous times to rule out the possibility of over tightning the belts.
