Rough Idling and Lag on Acceleration

Alright so here we go. Ever since I had my engine replaced to the Y7 Head and Y8 Block things havent been the same not too bad I mean it runs fine but just minor issues. At the first it was idling up and down so I replaced the IAC valve and cleaned the throttle body that seemed to do it justice. Also I had replaced my stock headers with aftermarket DC headers 4,2,1 and as u would know replacing CX headers means eliminating the cat since its apart of the headers, retarded I know. So for a while I just drove it straight pipe with only one o2 plugged in since there wasn't another hole to plug in the secondary. It ran ok, and when I finally got to it I did the cx to ex exhaust conversion which basicaly consists of getting the EX cat, and resonator pipe since it fits directly and an extension harness for second o2 so it will reach. That's when the Idling and Acceleration lag came to be. Now my question is and sorry for the "Cool story Bro" moment but I'm thinking it could be my o2's are bad since it happened after I plugged them back in or something else. FYI I pulled a code with that machine u plug into the dash area and it read p1129 which I believe has something to do with the MAP. Any help would be appreciated. Also I purchased two new Denso o2's and when they arrive and are installed I'll let u know if anything changes.

Definitely check the o2 sensors, and make sure the secondary o2 is behind the cat (sounds like it is). I read into that code and all I really found to check the MAP sensor was this:

P1129: MAP Sensor Signal Higher Than Expected
Start the engine. Hold the engine at 3,000 rpm with no load (in Park or neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
Check the MAP with the scan tool.
Is 36.9 kPa (277 mmHg, 10.9 in.Hg) , 1.1 V , or less indicated?
YES - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
NO - Replace the MAP sensor.

Not sure if that helps any, but it's something to try just in case the o2 sensors are good.

I didn't get to check the MAP sensor yet but I will do that also my o2 sensors will be arriving today and I'll put them in and let u guys know the results... Thanx alot for ur quick response I really appreciate it...

Sorry I haven't updated in a while... so, I changed the o2's still same crap I did some research and discovered other people with same issue and it comes back to MAP sensor but one guy had to change the MAP sensor plug and wires once i get my new MAP and install I'll let u know if its still lagging... but here's a new issue that started up, so my car has been having issues starting up in the morning since its been cool and humid, found out my starter was shot i replaced it and it still seems to not turn in in the mornings recently but once I get it going its fine... I'm thinking there's some sort of moisture building up which is causing my car to not start up in the morning and once the car is warmed up no moisture... so any suggestions...

The MAP sensor is very important. If the MAP sensor or its circuit malfunctions, the engine will run very poorly, so I'm baffled by your decision to replace the O2 sensors when a MAP sensor code was clearly thrown.

Starter issue ---> have your battery tested.

Well the main reason I changed my o2's was because it was due to change them and I need my inspection sticker also the issues didn't start happening until I plugged them back in must've been a weird coincidence... the starter definitely needed to be changed, it failed horribly when I had it tested, as for the battery its brand new and the starter cranks hard as hell so it doesn't feel like the battery is the issue, unless there's something else the battery could be throwing off but this problem literally started last week its been one thing after the next... I'm gonna have my MAP replaced as soon as the part comes in and if the problem continues ill have the plug and wires checked... I thank you guys for the advice and input it sucks to brainstorm on ur own... I'll report an update once test that out

Here's^ the reason that I advised you to check the battery. If the starter can't turn the engine after sitting overnight, then the battery is suspect. Even a new battery can get discharged.

And I don't understand why you think your O2 sensors were due for change. My Civic's O2 sensors are 16 years old and just fine. The point is that the MAP sensor code should have been your first priority. There was no strong reason to suspect the O2 sensors when you were aware that a MAP sensor code was present.

Just trying to teach you some basic logic when you are troubleshooting car problems.
