RPM gauge

So my rpm gauge does not wrk after 3 grand,
every time it goes past it, it goes super crazi bouncin in all ranges..
this is my second guage i have put in and it still doesnt work.
ive checked the plug-ins in the bak and everything is fine.

Any ideas???

if it's an aftermarket gauge maybe it's set on a different cylinder vehicle and not 4 cyl.

no its a stock LX one just as the car i have. its ma second one. first one wrked an den went out, so i swapped it and it still dnt wrk
