RSX Seats and Corbeau Brackets

What is a likelihood that the two would work together with a bit of drilling? I'm not much of a welder, but if it would work with drilling some new holes, that'd be cool...

Or would they be completely useless (the brackets) in this particular application?

I'm only asking cuz I don't have either yet.. but will soon. I already bought the Corbeau brackets thinking I was going to be getting universal racing seats, but it looks like I found a good deal on some RSX seats instead.

i honestly dont know for sure, but i doubt it will be a bolt on application. If the brackets are made for your civic, then all you would have to do is bolt the seat to the brackets(hopefully) and be set

if its not made for your car then its going to be a lot of fab work and imo not worth it.

i have some ep3 seats in my ej8 so it might be the same for the rsx so you can either just drill some new holes into floor of your civic or you cut off the rails from the rsx seat and your civic seat then weld the stock seats rails onto the rsx seat n it well bolt right up or you can fab some new rails for it

yeah, i've seen that before..

im not sure how im gonna do it yet. i dont weld, so id have to get a shop to do it.. no biggie, but it'd be nice to keep the stock seats for when i sell the car...unless i just sell the car all put together with all aftermarket parts.

the corbeau brackets are made for my car, so if im lucky i can bolt the rsx seats to it... but as others have pointed out, everything's welded on these seats... rails to the brackets... its all riveted/welded.. huge pain in the ass to drill that s**t out.

i also dont want to end up sitting too high in the car either, so i have to make sure that by using the corbeau brackets, that doesnt happen. i'll know how it sits when i get the brackets tomorrow.

shame i couldnt find s2000 seats... at least those can swap seat pans!
