Yesterday I installed my stereo system. At first I was struggling with where to run the power wire through the firewall. Did some research and didn't find much on this topic. Eventually i succeeded and here is what I got!
Go the passenger side of the car and pull back the carpet. BTW I never saw the grommet from the inside of the car.
There is a grommet to the bottom right of the battery. Remove it.
Then poke a hole through the grommet and the insulation inside the firewall. make sure the wire is snug.
Then feed the wire through.Thats pretty much it. Heres the finished product. Hope this helps.
