Running Rich

My car seems to be running rich constantly, sometimes when I start it it'll sputter n turn off then after a couple times of restarting it'll finally start climbing to idle at arouns 850..there are only sometimes that it does that. My temp sensor went bad and I've read that might be it so tomorrow ill be replacing it hoping that's it.

Is the check engine light on? And how does it run after you get going?

Nope, the check engine light isnt on. itll come on when i open her up but once i restart the car it goes away. and after it starts it runs perfectly find its just stupid at startup!

Have you had the battery or anything disconnected for anything recently? I know I have had this problem before and I mean I tried a couple things but I disconnected the battery for a little while plugged it back in and seemed to fix it. Don't know if it will in this case but it is worth a go.
