Rust!?!?!

i was washing my civic just about a hour ago and i found that right next to my right headlight i have a chip out of the paint, and it is rusting. what should i do fo fix it?

on the fender I take it, no way the bumper could rust, grind it down and fill 'er in.

get the autozone chip paint stuff untill you can get it fixed at a shop (repainted)

theres rust, grind an are down, fill it in smoothly and repaint.

i am no expert, nor do i do body work, just a guess.

or touch up paint....untill u can get it fixed....

If there is rust do not just paint over it! Carefully sand (or grind depending on how bad it is) until there is nothing but clean metal. Us a rust preventing primer and touch up paint (unless the touch up paint says it prevents rusting).

If you just paint over it the rust will continue to spred and then you will be in big trouble in a year or two. Luckily its just a replaceable fender, most people get it on their quarter panels which cannot be replaced.
